Lookups use a local catalogue, so the assessor receives no search queries or article URLs.

Privacy and access

Search providers receive your query through Horizon. Publishers see the server's outbound address or its configured proxy address. Images are fetched through Horizon and re-encoded. Your browser loads no third-party scripts, fonts or tracking pixels.

Search and article caching is disabled. Provider counters contain no queries or user identifiers. API providers can still associate requests with the platform's API accounts.

HTTPS encrypts traffic to HTTPS destinations. Proxy routing changes the outbound IP; a plain HTTP or SOCKS5 proxy alone does not create an encrypted tunnel. A configured proxy failure never triggers a direct retry.

The reader extracts article text supplied by pages, embedded data and supported rendering. If a subscription or bot check prevents the publisher supplying text, the reader reports the limitation. A teaser is never presented as a complete article.
